Leslie E. A. Hanner is a Florida-raised artist whose work is deeply inspired by the natural beauty and everyday scenes all around her hometown. Known for her loose yet realistic style, Leslie works in watercolor, acrylic, and oil—choosing the medium that feels right.
Her landscape paintings are created exclusively from personal reference photos she takes on family adventures throughout the Treasure Coast of Florida, which endlessly inspire Leslie to capture these scenes and feelings with paint.
In addition, Leslie’s watercolor portraits of beloved pets have become a popular part of her portfolio. She also films and shares the painting process on her instructional YouTube channel. Since 2015, Leslie has also shared her love of art through Capture The Art, her private painting event business where she teaches beginners of all ages. Her events range from 100+ painters to small intimate groups.
Leslie currently lives in her hometown of Port St. Lucie, with her husband and large extended family, while homeschooling her three children. Through both her paintings and her teaching, Leslie aims to encourage others to pause, reflect, and find joy in the praiseworthy beauty of everyday life.
