Orchids in Bloom

'Orchids in Bloom' was created from a photo I took of my orchid tree that is in my backyard.  This tree was actually saved from a spare lot in the neighborhood, just before it was cleared for new construction.  Yes, we asked permission before digging it up and transplanting it!  It has since then grown into a huge tree and produces a ton of blooms every winter (in Florida!!)    

It is an 8x8 inch artwork done on a gallery wrapped 1.5" deep canvas. It is ready to hang as is (has clean white edges), or can be put into a floater frame available at your local frame shop.  I like to use many vibrant strokes and details to help make for an exciting piece. This one in particular has many layers to build up the texture by use of acrylic paint and lots of loose strokes.  

This will be shipped with bubble wrap and cardboard, sometimes with recycled materials. This purchase is for the artwork only, does not include a frame. 

Each original will come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity as well.  

**Please keep in mind that all computer monitors can display colors differently, but these photos were taken in daylight to offer the best representation of color.
