Savanna Sky

'Savanna Sky' was created from a photo of the local Savanna reserve near our home. We like to camp there in the winter, since it's close and yet so beautiful.  I am notorious for taking a lot of photos every time I leave the house, which is what I use exclusively in my studio as reference.  This is from a series of Florida landscapes done in acrylic with loose, painterly strokes. It is a 8x8 inch artwork done on a gallery wrapped 1.5" deep canvas. It is ready to hang as is (has clean white edges), or can be professionally framed.  I like to use many vibrant strokes and details to help make for an exciting piece. This one in particular has many layers to build up the texture by use of acrylic paint and lots of loose strokes.  

This will be shipped with bubble wrap and cardboard, sometimes with recycled materials. This purchase is for the artwork only, does not include a frame. 

Each original will come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity as well.  

**Please keep in mind that all computer monitors can display colors differently, but these photos were taken in daylight to offer the best representation of color.
